TO DISARM:
Enter your code at keypad. If error is made you must wait
5 seconds before re-entering.
TO ARM:
Close all protected doors and windows, even the door near
the keypad. Wait for solid green light and then enter
your code. Wait for red armed light and exit (30 seconds).
TO FIND OPEN ZONE:
Green light will be flashing. Count the number of flashes
to determine open zone.
TO SILENCE SIREN:
Enter code twice for burglar alarm
TO RESET SMOKE/FIRE:
Enter code twice to silence. Open alarm cabinet and wait
5 seconds than close and lock it. If that does not work (for
earlier version) then open the cabinet and locate, in the upper
right of the green circuit board, the 2 glass fuses with metal
ends, and remove them with your fingers. Wait 5 seconds and then
plug them back in.
TO CHANGE CODE:
Open alarm cabinet and locate black slide switch in upper
left corner and slide it to far right (normally in center position).
Go to keypad (all lights should be flashing and keypad will be
beeping), push (S) then user number 1, 2, 3 or 4 then enter new
code. Example; to change user 3's code- press (S)+3+(new code).
repeate for up to 4 users. When done, slide black switch back
to center position and close alarm cabinet.
TO BYPASS:
Push (9) & hold until it beeps. Then enter your code.
Red light will turn on.
TO SHUNT:
Press (S) + (zone number) + (code). Example: To shunt zone 1,
push (S), then push (1), then enter your code.
LIGHTS FLASHING:
If all lights are flashing on keypad, this indicates no A.C.
power going to control. Could be caused by power failure, fuses
blown, circuit breakers tripped or transformer is unpluged. To
reset the lights, push (9) and hold until it beeps. (note; system
can now be armed if needed.) Lights will continue to reflash
every 10 minutes until power is restored.
KEYPAD BEEPING:
If the keypad is beeping and the alarm has not been tripped,
it could be due to being in test mode, or the door chime is activated.
Push (9) and hold until it beeps.
